TO LIVE HER LIFE THESIS COLLECTION

To Live Her Life explores the tension between artifice and authenticity, structure and vulnerability, the enveloped and the exposed—both in the garments themselves and in the experience of wearing them. The collection examines the performance of femininity: how dress and undress can be both intimate and theatrical, serving as acts of self-expression and explorations of multiple identities.

Embracing the girlish playfulness and carefree spirit of dress-up, Isabel Clulow presented a collection of versatile separates that can be styled and mixed in various ways. The work draws inspiration from film, love stories, and early 20th-century fashion, as well as personal reflections on dressing and the attitudes and styles of influential women in her life.
